It can be prepared both in the microwave and the conventional stove.

Already comes with prune syrup.

Ingredientes

Manjar: Sugar, transgenic cornstarch, grated coconut, carrageenan gum thickener, and flavor identical to natural coconut.

Syrup: Sugar, modified starch, carrageenan gum and guar gum thickeners, flavor identical to natural prune, salt, citric acid acidulant, coloring ammonia caramel, and artificial colorings sunset yellow FCF, tartrazine and amaranth.

Manjar

  1. Dissolve the contents of the larger pack (160g) in 750ml (3¾ teacups) of whole milk.
  2. Cook in mild heat, stirring constantly until it boils, and keep stirring for another minute. Remove it from the fire.
  3. Pour it in a mold with a center cone, take it to the fridge until it obtains consistency.
  4. Remove it from the mold by using a knife, scraping it on the sides and in the middle of the mold.

Syrup

Stir the contents of the smaller package (40g) with 50ml (1/4 teacup) of water until it becomes uniform. Pour it over the Manjar and serve chilled.

Microwave*

Manjar

In a baking dish with 1-liter capacity and usable in microwave, add the contents of the larger package (160g) and 750ml of milk. Mix well and cook it in the microwave for 3 minutes, remove it, stir well and return it to microwave for another 3 minutes. Mix well, pour it in a baking mold and chill it in the refrigerator.

Syrup

Stir the contents of the smaller packet (40g) with 50ml (1/4 cup) of water until it becomes uniform. Pour it over the manjar and serve chilled.

*The recipe was tested in a 900W oven.

Makes 8 servings (100ml).
